Technical
and economic feasibility study of an urban vehicle:
Project requirements, needs requirements, valuation survey, design and
validation of components, transportation and logistic flow management.
(Excel, Catia, Adams, Solidworks)
Duration:
6 months
The aim of this
project was to study the economic feasibility of an urban vehicle. Thus
all the aspects have been considered: Market penetration, state of the
art, industrial feasibility, economical feasibility, management, risks.
During this study
we used tools to analyse and determine what the best compromise was in
term of price/performance. This study also takes into account the
logistics (where to build the factory regarding suppliers and auto
dealers), accountancy and return on investment.
Finally we sized
all the components regarding the technology previously chosen (rotor,
brake calliper, steering, spring, shock, ...).
Then
a 3D model of the whole vehicle has been designed on CATIA v5
The
final report of this 4months project exceeds 600 pages.
